I've been wanting to try my hands blogging for a while, so here goes nothing. I.m super excited about teaching second grade next year! I've taught third grade math for the past six years and felt is was time for a change. Next year I will be teaching second grade math, science and social studies as we roll out departmentalization in second grade. Be looking for updates on how that goes.
I've never been too much into themes in my classroom cause I've mostly just stuck with bright colors and patterns. Next year I am excited about my Owl theme! I've already started planning. Keep checking back for more updates on that!
